The John B. Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the Columbus, Georgia region to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. It is the only cancer treatment center with this designation in the 14-county service area around Columbus.
All oncology doctors at the John B. Amos Cancer Center are board-certified in their fields. They provide cancer care and lead a team of dedicated professionals who guide patients through cancer treatment. This team may include additional cancer specialists, clinical researchers, case manager associates, clinical counselors, pharmacists, radiation physicists and therapists, oncology- and chemotherapy-certified nurses, and registered dietitians.

The Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional has been affiliated with the Children’s Miracle Network since 1995. Along with being the region’s only facility dedicated to the unique care of infants and children, we are the only dedicated children’s hospital within the Piedmont family, meaning we are setting the bar for childcare across the state of Georgia.

The Piedmont Classic - Driven by Mercedes-Benz of Columbus is a celebration of health and wellness in our community. Tennis & Golf event proceeds will benefit the John B. Amos Cancer Center. Pickleball event proceeds benefit The Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital.

The Piedmont Classic Tennis Event is a fun-filled day of instructional and competitive tennis. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Enjoy breakfast before morning drills with National Champions from Columbus State University’s Men’s & Women’s Tennis Teams.
We will take a break in the middle of the day for lunch, an inspiring speaker, and an exhibition match with CSU’s top players. The fun will continue with afternoon round robin play, followed by a reception and crowning of the 2024 Piedmont Classic champs.

‘Pickle for Piedmont’ will benefit The Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital at Piedmont Columbus Regional.
Ladies will join us at 9:30 am for dinks & drills, round robin play, and lunch.
New this year, following lunch, is our mixed doubles session starting at 1:30 pm.
At 5:30 pm, Men will begin session with a ‘happy hour’ followed by a few tips and round robin play to crown this year’s tournament champions.

Golf Tournament

The Piedmont Classic Golf Tournament features a morning and afternoon flight of golf at the Country Club of Columbus. The morning flight begins at 8 am with registration and continental breakfast. Trophies are presented to the Low Net and Low Gross Teams at the end of the round.
Lunch is available for all players beginning at 11:30 am. The afternoon flight begins at 1:30 pm and is followed by a trophy presentation to Low Net and Low Gross Teams at the end of the day.
